Hey, guys. Totally new to RC's. Wife just got me a REVO for Christmas  . Just put the long rockers and stiffer springs on it to allow more suspension travel, it kinda made sense to me. Now just thinking how much different is it actually gonna be? Anybody knows if that will make the truck handle any better or worse?

Stiffer springs and long rockers are a great setup for jumping. If your looking to bash hard over jumps this setup will work great. If you are looking for better handling the looser shocks and short rockers will be a better fit.

The best thing to do is get used to your truck with a setup then change it.
Have fun,
-Ed

For max air, what springs do you advise with the long rockers? I'm currently running Gold rears, Yellow fronts w/ 45 wt oil.

you need much thicker shock oil with those LT rockers/springs if your gonna jump. 70-85wt! they give alot more suspension travel. you also need the LT springs with the LT rockers.

Tell me about it I put the long travel arms on and the dampning went to hell. Heavier weight oil is a MUST!!!!!
