Hey guys just though I would post a couple pictures of one of my new toy. This is a Mi-17 Helicopter that has been modded to accept 6 57mm rocket pods. Each pod holds 32 rockets....or 192 total. I belongs to the Afghanistan Air Force. The American Air Force are here as advisers to them. We are a part of the plan to get us out of here eventually. They are learning to stand and fight against the Taliban and other insurgent groups. We are proud of them...it's a slow process but every time we do things they get a bit better. So we will call this a long distance dedication to the Taliban....."I just call to say I love you".....Now Lets go blow some Sh*! UP!!!!

Yeah they are pretty fun. We also have 7.62x54 PKM machine guns in the side of helicopter as well. Those are pure love too. Just to say....hello.

That looks like it would be a BLAST!!!!! but also looks like it would have a hard time getting out of its own way, LOL!!!!

How can I obtain these 57mm rocket pods? They would do wonders for my lousy rush hour commute through Pittsburgh. Every time someone jams up the intersection and causes gridlock... pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssshhttt :whhooo:BOOOOM!

Nope, but close Alpine...Futaba 12FGH. You know SteelCity I am really betting that could clear some traffic with it too. Yeah this thing does not maneuver as fast as a lot of American helicopters like the HH-60 PaveHawk/Blackhawk that I am more used too. But it does pretty good and is very survivable too. Pretty tough old tractor...lol

It was originally designed by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Company. (wikipedia)

Yup more of a blunt weapon as to a precision machine. On the other hand a sledge hammer rarely breaks. :D

Yeah, but it's a lot more fun to work with a CNC machine than it is to work a sledge hammer.
Russia builds some tough stuff, but there's a special beauty in everything military that we build here. Whether it floats, flies or rolls, it's got a special look that just says, "I'm seriously cool, but don't mess with me." :D

I don't know man, there's a certain pleasure connected with smashing things with a blunt weapon. :D

C'mon if you HAD an AH-64 you would stick it in a glass cage faster than a fat kid could eat cake. :p:
