probably a dumb question but .... should i locktite nylon locknuts?
isn't the nylon all the way in inside threads??

You should at least do the wheel nuts. You don’t wont those spinning off. The fact that you tend to remove them often can wear out the nylon.

I have found that nylon and lock-tight don't work well together well. In some cases it melts the nylon. You can use CA glue or if possible, use a 2nd nut to back the other one up.

no need for lock tite on nylon lock nuts but i would but if they are worn i would replace them

The nylock nuts are metal except the last two or three threads of the nut. Use of loctite might harm the nylon, but the metal to metal combined with loctite will make certain that the nut stays on. Remember a little dab will do ya. No need to go overboard with the loctite in any application.

I have spun off the left front wheel nut on my maxx 3 times. One time on asphalt which ground off the bottom axle carrier real good. Now I use a little locktite on the wheel nuts and not had one come off since. As Sky says, just a little dab is all you need. Also, make sure you spread it into the threads before putting on the nut. If it damages the nylon, I have not noticed.
