There are alot of people asking what rims and tires weigh. This thread is for posting the weight of them so we can find out what are the lightest set of wheels and tires. I have 9 sets I'm posting.

From top left to right.
1. proline dish wheel and proline bow tie tire:..........Each 208gr Total 832gr
2. s maxx wheel and imex pinn dawg tires:..............Each 201gr Total 804gr

From middle row left to right
3. proline outback wheel and proline masher tire:.....Each 260gr Total 1040gr
4. proline mambo wheel and road rage tires 40ser:...Each 256gr Total 1024gr
5. revo tallon wheels and gemini tires:....................Each 265gr Total 1060gr

Bottom row left to right
6.Aluminum MSJ wheel and proline masher tire:......Each 298gr Total 1192gr
7. hpi gt 5 wheels and gt tires:............................Each 360gr Total 1440gr

OK guys now its up to you to post some of your wheels and tires weight.
What i think is crazy is that the hpi wheels and tires are very heavy. My aluminum wheels and tires are lighter than stock savage wheels and tires.

ya know i got alum wheels to. I've been wanting to go plastic to save weight. ima see how much my alum weighs and compare. i never even checked i just assumed they were heavyer

They may not weigh more, but once they are bent they are bent. They will never be true again. Plastic is the way to go.

i have beat the living snot out of these rims and havent bent one yet. I've already got them so i might as well run them if there not heavyer.

I'm holding off for some rpms with there "lifetime guarantee"

Ya my aluminum rims are on there second set of tires and they are not bent yet. My aluminum rims can change the offset because the centers come off and i can flip them. I love my aluminum rims they are super strong and light.

I have a nice scale that mesures in 10th grams(auto paint scale for makeing up paint colors, super acurate), its at my freinds house ill take a few sets of tires i have and get some weights tomoro..

you guys should also mention what foams you are using. I'm sure the 3 stage foams weigh more then the regular foams...

well i dont have a scale but the alum wheels feel lighter then the stockers. I'm using the traxxas racing foams that have three sections that you glue together. these foams are heavyer then stock so that makes the setup about the same. oh well at least there tough
