I have a firestorm sawzall and circular saw that the batteries have died. I really hate buying new cordless tools just because the batteries are bad. Has anyone used hardcase lipos on them. I know I will need a low voltage cutoff.

I found a website a couple years ago that sell batterys for tools. Rebuild them too. They use 3000mah sanyos as opposed to the 1500mah nicds that most come with. Most of the packs we're around $30. They even had packs for my 15 year old craftsman drills. Might be worth doing a search.

I know the interstate battery guy redoes packs but they charge a fortune. He redid a pair of batteries for my panasonic drill that I love and should have them done again.

Can you maybe tell us the name of the website because that sounds really good to me. At the moment my battery broke and I need it to be repaired. In the meantime I have no other choice than using power rentals until I found a rather inexpensive company to either recharge or repair the battery.
