does anyone know how i would go about lightening up my t-maxx? i want it to retain strength but be really light for racing.

You could start by putting foc in it. Remove all the reverse gears. Maybe going from ez start to pull start will help a little too. Run 50 weight shock oil....that's about all I got.

They make carbon fiber chassis for like 80 bucks. And if you have aluminum parts replace em with RPM plastic.

Most of the weight comes from the tires. Running some light-weight, pin-type racing tires on dish wheels really helps.

Probably not in the hands of a capable driver.
