Doing a search on the site about the Lightning will provide you with a ton of information. There is even a thread dedicated to the Lightning in the 1/8th section.

all I can say is get the HB Lightning 2 if you can afford it, it will give you much more to grow into and is an updated design.

I'll tell you this

At the track - I've broken my bumper, upper a arm tunbuckle, and my wing.

Bashing - In a very hard T-bone, into another car, off a 5' jump able to lauch you 30'+ I broke my shock shaft.

Nothing is bent!

I'm as happy as a guy with a broken shock shaft can be right now!:whack:
