I got my venon Speed Module on it, and well I am dissapointed, top speed was 38mpg, and I am running 30% odonnel, looks like we need a better motor, not to figure out what to put on it

So will a Sirio .27 with same gearing you think it will go alot faster?

this car alredy comes w/a .26 on it stock.

i wonder how accurate that speed module is to ????

do u know if u can use other bodies on the lighning street???

i have one{lightning street} thatl be deliverd here 2mrrw {fri}the 2nd

If you want speed, try to find a nice high revving engine with a nice tall powerband. Also, you'll need to change your gearing. It'll just go probably the same speed if you don't

instead of going with a 300 + dollar .27 that wont really make it faster, try a nova rossi or sirio 21 on road motor in it with a good pipe.

BadRC - Are you sure you have the tranny adjusted correctly? Did you hear the car shift? You can tell when it shifts because there is a change in pitch and the car really starts to move out. And the force 26 motor that comes with the car is not one of the more powerful big blocks on the market right now. YOu can get a picco 26 for 160.00-180.00 I would try one of them. You could try a novarossi but you would need one of their high output 21's to get the job done and thats going to cost you 300.00 or more.

BadRc - Does it say anywhere in the instuctions what the final gear ratio is?

the nova will be 300 + , but with the money you're investing you may as well get your moneys worth

Supernitro17 - I don't disagree with what you are saying but if a 10 pound monster truck like the savage and tmaxx can hit 40mph either his tranny is not shifting right or his vehicle weights a ton. Or the spread of the 2 speed gear ratio really sucks.

I just finished reading the latest issue of rc car, they had an article on your car they estimated the top end to be 45-50 miles an hour if you got enough space to wind it out. But the car is a heavy weight it weights over 9 pounds!!! Maybe this is why hotbodies went with a big block 26 instead of a 21 because you need the extra torque to get this bad boy moving quickly.
