Was wondering if anyone has use a li-po battery in there Revo and if they had to do all lot of mods to make it work. If you have which li-po battery you use ?
If you're running brushless then you need do nothing, if you are running brushed then a low voltage cut off is a good idea, or a very good eye to shut down the SECOND you notice any power drop.
Go to Maxamps http://www.maxamps.com/index.php
They have everything including new packs for the E Revo's cases.

If you're talking about an e-revo then brushless has you covered if you are simply talking about a Lipo RX battery then you will need a BEC, it will step down the voltage of the lipo to 6V so you don't fry your RX or servo, Novak has a really nice one with a low voltage cut off built into it: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/23173
That is what I was thinking of doing is using it as a Lipo RX and using the same thing but bigger amp, and this one Muchmore Li-Ion and Li-Poly 6.5V, 7A Servo Voltage Regulator
