i originally started off this weekend wanting a heli then i saw this thing and it called out to me I'm going home with you today mister, i dont think i could get a RTF heli for the price i paid for this thing already RTR. At least if i loose radio contact with it i can swim after it,with the heli there is no swimming after it plus it would take some G2 seat time before i could even begin to think about flying a heli which in time I'm going to need anyway the heli is not out of the picture yet at some point I'm getting one, after i have a little boating fun that is..

what did that boat cost if you don't mind me asking being RTR, used, gas, at a pawn shop?? I live on a lake and want one I had one when I was a kit it was about 150 but not that great, but it was fun!

as soon as i get moved i will post some pics of the boat i have its a raceing sailboat but its big

i payed 350.00 at the pawn shop for it, but its worth double that IMO you'll pay that for a new engine on one of these things..oh yeah forgot to add how big is the sailboat you talk about. my searches on the net for my boat, i've seen some pretty sweet sailboats.

Nice boat man, what make and what model is it, .32 nitro who makes it, any hopups under the hood, post some video if your able to do so.

its a proboat shockwave 36, powered by a dynamite .32. it just came today, i bought it without radio (still has servos in it) for 225 shipped. it only has 2 tanks through it. as soon as i pick up a receiver for it, ill be out terrorizing the local waterfowl. once the engine is fully broken in, ill probibly pull out the piston and sleeve to see if there is any massaging i can do.

ill see what i can do for video, but it doesn't look good. i only have a digi cam that takes fairly junk vids. and my camcorder isnt digital. i would have to get a video card with rca style inputs to convert to digital format. id be more than happy to mail someone a vhs tape if they could convert it though.

well we jsut got a 2004 seadoo GTX 4-tech limited SC wave runner. it has a 1.5L 3-cylinder supercharged motor that puts out 185 hp, can't wait to drive this they say it gets up to 70 really quick, and with hardly any effort, will post pics when we get it put in the water or if I make it to my house tomorrow

Dude, your waverunner has more hp than my car! Thats awesome I love just skis, too bad the parents absolutely despise them...

you need some sponsons, that thing is going to ride on its side from the torque provided by the prop in the water.

I need a boat!

[Edit] an RC boat that is.

are sponsons things that stick out the side to help stabalize it, cause it has those, if you are going like 45-50 and gun the throttle and crank it hard, it will track like its on rails, doesn't spin out like they normally do

hey greenwing7 take care of that GTX. The bearings can go without anyhint i have one and my dad has one and i just blew the bearings on mine after hitting 76. and after looking at my dads i it looked like he needed some so i replaced them all saved a couple G's the shop down the road from me said it was like $1,500 for both to be done.if you want some links to some performance parts PM me.

are those the bearings in the impeller of the motor?? yeah I would love some hopups, it was soo smooth last night I was racing cars as they were driving on the dam LOL so much fun!!!!
