I bought a LED light kit from RCLIGHT.COM, then bought a new bright elec F150 truck and used the body. I then fabricated the body to fit my tmaxx. In doing so I had to extend the sides to cover up the battery box, fuel tank etc. After the work was done on the truck I prep'd the body for paint had my dad paint it a Honda Civic SI metallic Blue and then clear coat it. My dad ownes a bodyshop so it wasn't much at all. The I mad a bedliner using tool box liner. Let me know what you guys think. The turn signals and brake lights work as well its just hard to show in taking pics

P.S I'm hoping these pictures work. I have tried everything possible to get them to post!!

Right??? That is pretty cool! Great job i would say, and +1 for using creative materiel! :)

I have to say, Ford.....I would have went with Jeep! :)

Its not exactly Lexan you can see the bodys at www.newbright.com I bought it for the bucket headlights with the lenses over them to make the truck look more realistic than having just leds sticking out of the body. The body is not used to run the truck at all and is just for show. The turn signals and brake lights look awesome and work just like the real thing!! I am very happy with the light kit. As for the FORD body... Well there wasn't much to choose from at 1/8th scale and I found this body at a tractor supply company believe it or not!! Thank you guys for the replies!!
