My t maxx fuel tank is leaking at the fuel line fitting, I put two tie wraps on the fittting and stilll leaks. I took and cut about a 1/4 inch off the line put it back on and still it leaks. My question is what sealer can I put on the fitting that the fuel won't eat? I have thought of a glue or something like that because it is making a mess of all my new aluminum parts LOL. Any tricks or ideas guys?

What size fuel line do you have on there ? How old is it and has it gone hard ? I dont have any clamps on mine at all and I have no leaks at all .

Try new fuel line first. If that doesn't fix it I personally would go with a new fuel tank rather than try and seal the leak. You may get it to seal for a while but "with my luck" it would just start leaking again. Sorry my answers don't have cheap fixes... been there, tried that.

I have a bit of an update, after removing the tank I plugged the fuel line and put a bit of fuel in the tank. I blew into the tank to comfirm where the leak was an it wasn't the fuel line at all, it was the the mounting threads. The fuel was running down past the threads of the screw and dripping off the fuel line. I ordered a brand new tank off ebay tonight, thanks for the help guys....and sorry my mistake.

Glad you found the leak . Just make sure the screw isnt too long for the hole . Id hate to put the new tank on only to find out the screw is alittle too long and puncture the tank again .
