Build Showcase LC12B1 Buggy

So much fun in a 1/12 scale!

I have never actually driven it with that body. I will add some more pics, it really is a fun chassis. I really do want to put this in sct form against the Mojave grom. Or I suppose I could go buggy vs typhoon grom?

The LC12 B1 is a legit 4WD race buggy with a similar chassis layout as in almost all successful modern wheelers in the 1:10th scale. Pitching it against pretty much anything else on the track is unfair for the competition if you ask me. :)

It could be a fun comparison, though, if you have drivers of roughly the same skill level and take turns to see if the results change with different drivers.

Still waiting on picsssss
They are up. Check em out. I took this (as a sct) to the lake this past week on our trip and it was fun to have. Needs another good cleaning!
Due to the current esc location this buggy body doesn’t quite sit down all the way.

I keep seeing these... They look like a lot off fun to run! I really enjoy the smaller scale stuff. This is a cool buid!👍
Thanks. What makes it so fun for me is the ability to go from buggy to sct, to rally/drift car, to baja bug, and truggy to m/t. There’s a short 1/14 chassis and a long. The short is obviously the emb and maybe the m/t, the long being a truggy, sct, the rally car, and the desert buggy. The 1/12 buggy is the same wheelbase as the long 1/14. Using the truggy sized motor makes the lc12b1 ballistic. It’s durable too

I have a 1/12 scale deerc that is built similarly. Multiple parts fit multiple platforms etc.
I threw a set of 1/10 scale 2.2 on it and it is a blast too!
I like the DeeRC cars but there are limitations. They don't offer a ball bearing diff, axle shafts aren't great etc.
The LC Racing might be the next step for me in small buggy!
How are you finding parts availability?

Warrenrc and riptide rc have anything you need. Warren is in Michigan I beleive.
I’ve had mine for a few years and haven’t had to repair or replace anything yet, but the bearings are about due. The factory bearings are good but I’ve recently found that the seals aren’t perfect.

I've been looking at these and the Rlaarlo RZ001. The RZ might have the driveshaft solution for my failing DeeRC. It looks like a pretty solid truck.

I can't find anyone who speaks badly about LC Racing. Only "complaint" is from ppl who think its a reboxed WLToys for twice the price. Clearly, this is not the opinion of actual LC Racing owners however.
