I have seen lots of posts and videos that guys are pulling wheelies with their XL but I have tried driffernt tires diff surfaces and still can't seem to pull enough power at dead stop. Any other ideas to get more power off the line. Especially since my buddy's X with a Dynamite .33 motor smokes me at 50 ft drag. Thanks in advance for the help.

Try to tune your car properly HSN and LSN plus have a good gears on cb and spur gear. For me whillies can't give good speed on acceleration since the front tires don't have traction, try to set your truck by avoiding willies with a good acceleration plus a good adjustment for the changing gears on 2nd speed.

Getting it tuned right will make the biggest difference. If you're confident with your tuning skills, the next step is to gear down a little. Smaller clutch bell/bigger spur=more acceleration, less top speed.

My Xl had a very loose slipper from the factory and I could never get the front wheels off the ground. Tighten the slipper all the way down and see if you can't get them in the air then. Keep in mind running with a locked slipper may break some things but so far my XL has held up to some major abuse with a locked slipper.
