I hope it doesn't have the nVidia integrated graphics. They had a lot of problems with them and actually had a recall. I had to put 2 motherboards in my DV-9000 before I gave up...

It's working fine. Local pawn shop wouldn't take it since it was seriously infected so once I got it cleaned out and checked it I offered her a 100 dollar bill.

I was wondering the same thing Ralph, I have a Sony Vaio that needs a new battery pack. I am a bit worried about battery life and run times with the non-sony Chinese knock off batteries though.

I found replacement batteries for my new one running as high as $117.
Usually I've paid 30 to 35 and never had problems with any of them.

I've not replaced a laptop battery but I've bought replacement and upgraded cell phone batts off ebay, the cheap ones and had nothing but good luck. Their the same as cheap vs expensive lipo's imo. Same technology, different brand.

With an earlier Motorola flip phone I had, Radio Shack and others charged $50 for a battery. I found a DOUBLE unit with the extended door on line for $13. It never failed.

I buy ALL cell phone accessories off ebay. $30-40 for a case at local shop or $3 shipped off ebay lol, sometimes with free screen protectors lol.
