landed on cooling head now it wont start

Hi guys! i was running my 2011 savage x 4.6 today for like 10 minutes and as soon as i did a wheely it flipped it landed on its cooling head and turned off right away tried turning it on it wont start checked the glow plug and it was good keeped trying it wouldnt start so i put in a new glow plug and still did not turn on so brought it inside checked the lines they were good so i checked the tank and i noticed i didnt have the clips on the tank so i took it off to empty fuel and i noticed ther was a clip inside the tank a c lookin clip is that y it doesn't turn on or should i keep chekin or do i need a new tank please help I'm new to rc

You need to check it systematically and rule things out one by one. If you know the glow plugs good then take both the fuel and back pressure lines of and blow through the back pressure line with a little fuel in the tank and see if it comes out the line that goes to the carb. If nothing comes out the tank or line busted/cracked. Let me know. Ill help if i can.

found the problem is the piston its got a few deep scratches I'm just goin to get a new engine

Y would u do that just replace the cooling head and piston and sleeve it'll save you $

Check ebay, for the most part you can get a new engine from a chop shop for just a little more if not less than a proper rebuild. They have one for $113 with $9.50 shipping, so for just under $125 you have a new engine shipped to your door.
