The name says it all, ULTIMA SC brings together two of the hottest elements of today. The superior performance of Kyosho's legendary Ultima Series with the short course truck.

It was asked just a bit a go who would be next into the Short Course scene and it looks like Kyosho is going to be expanding in their collection from the DRT and now the Ultima SC!

sounds like this could be interesting. Hopefully it is better than the barely heard of/seen DRT.

x2 TAC!!! The profile does look like something though lol. Almost looks like a better stance.

It should be electric. 2wd nitro short courseg is virtually nonexistant.

If its a stretched ultima design it will be very similar to the sc10 and blitz, rather than the slash or losi. I see the field tightening its belt for a shootout.

Another 2WD? Come on, give OFNA a contender! I'm getting bored already with 2WD, even with fast BL.

Aren't all Kyosho Ultima's electric? I'm pretty sure this will be electric as well.

You got it.

Ultima is their electric 2WD.

Lazer is their electric 4WD.

Will it be 1/9.5 scale like most of the short course trucks that are out now or more true 1/10 size like the DRT?

It will be the same size as the sc10, slash, blitz, etc.

Is it hard to find Kyosho parts? I used to race a Javelin back in the day and used to get parts from Tower. They no longer carry any Kyosho so who is a good supplier in the states for Kyosho? I would consider this truck if it was supported well.

You can also order direct from KyoshoUSA if you are in pinch.

Thanks, I usually buy from tower or ebay. Will have to check that out:)

I think hobbytown usa is now supplied with kyosho sense they started the dnano thing. They are supposebly HT USA exclusively. So I would assume other kyosho parts would there.

No one I've talked to has said its been released. I'm assuming its a pre production model. It doesn't look bad though.

It would be nice to see it body-off. Not much to see there. Those rims would look geat flat black.
