Hi I have £250 to spend/waste as the missus would say was thinking of getting a mad force but the isn't much info about them but the one iam looking at is last seasons model the one before the new 2.4 ghz controller option as this s on sale at the min but any other recommendations would be good and don't worry about putting in too much info as that isn't possible lol

I got the new updated Traxxas TQi series 5ch with switches for $70, and they ranged lower than that depending but they are nice!

There really isnt much out there for aftermarket for the madforce(in the states anyway). IMO you may wanna consider 1) what does your LHS stock the most of 2) What kinda driving your gonna do the most and 3) Saving a little more coin to be able to have access to fuel (nitro or battery), charger, tools, etc

I opted for the madforce in the end still running it in at the min but iam pleased so far it's a massive truck IMO ESP for £250 I will update as I find but the videos online make it look like a very good bashed just hope it is

Right the engine is broken in pretty much only one more tank IMO.
First off its a fast truck not even getting into third gear and it's fast. on sand is where it's best it climbs anything goes over anything and it dosent break I've even sent it into a small tree head on and it just bounced off although the tree did have a massive gash in it but o well ;) the only prob iam having is the suspension it's held on with push on rivets not that is the proper name for them but there like a node which u push the suspension on too if I hit a jump a bit wrong they seem to like popping out which then causes the suspension to dig into the ground which if not noticed could cause a prob or just a prob in general :)

Also noticed it over heats quickly with the shell on is this common on monster trucks due to the bigger engine?
