Hey all, so I've bought the Kyosho Inferno 3.0 Nitro 1/8 and I'm wondering if some of the parts for the like model like the mp9, would fit into my car?

More like parts to make the car more solid and durable.

I was wondering if anyone knew and where to get the best ones?

I have very good luck with factory Kyosho stock and upgrade parts.
You could check Jennysrc.com for new take off parts at real good prices.
I have purchased a few big items at a time and even with shipping costs, plazajapan.com has been great!
What are you looking to upgrade?

I would love to upgrade the suspension, toughen it up and make it a lot better.

I'd like to upgrade the wheels and tires too, not something so aggressive like the stock tires because I've heard many saying this model handles better with different wheels and tires.

Later on down the road Ill probably upgrade to an indoor electric or racing nitro

If you are running at a track, find out what the track fav tire is. At least start there and make changes accordingly.
You might want to buy a set of tires for dirt and another set that can handle some pavement running.
It depends a lot on you and your driving surface.
I am not sure which wheels fit so some research on your part to find that out is where to start.

I'm not following the 'toughen up' suspension. You might put on somr aluminum hub carriers, steering blocks or that sort of thing if the car doesn't come with it. I wouldn't install a bunch of aluminum arms etc though.
Is there a problem you're trying to fix? What are you trying to make better?
Upgrading turnbuckles is a good idea assuming yours are steel. I bought some titanium turnbuckles from Kyosho. Another set from Avidrc.com.
You could try different rod ends. If your buggy doesn't have 'hard' rod end and balls, buy them!
They made a huge difference on my car.
If the suspension rods are not hardened, seek those out too. I bought mine from Kowork.com but mine are for the Optima Mid.
Again, not sure if avail for your car but for the Mid, 'Hard' lower suspension arms are also availible. I just bought a set to test fit.
You would be way better off with an upgrade like that than aluminum parts. 😉
I am not sure if there are different shock towers for your buggy but fiberlyte.com might be a good place to try.
I use 12.9 grade hardware from monsterbolts.com they are fast, prices are great, quality is top notch.

Before you go berzerk buying upgrades, I'd recommend getting it on a track and making your own mind up about what it needs and whats important to you.

Have you spent time looking at kyoshoamerica.com at all?

The Mid actually includes a sheet with availible option parts from Kyosho 'Option House'.
Check your manuals. 👍

I was looking at some of the specs on this car. Are the shock housings plastic on this car?
If so, take an eye to eye measurement to compare with other aluminum shocks.
I would contact jennysrc.com with your eye to eye and ask them what shocks they have will work.
They do have Inferno parts in stock.

I think a shock upgrade might go a long way to making your buggy feel solid on the track.
