What a joke. He almost runs into a crewman, and gets only a slap on the hand. 100 points and $100,000. Jr, had a parts violation and recieved the same penalty. NASCAR is not consistant at all in my book. Harvick was parked in a truck series race in 02 for rough driving and they parked him for the Cup race. I think Kurt needed to sit out a race or two. NASCAR is clearly not as concerned about this as they should have been, or say that they are.

Tom

I'm ok with the penalty for now. I do think he needs to sit out a couple, but it's not my call. When you go from flipping a guy off to almost running over a crew member, you've really crossed a line. I am surprised that there are no quotes from Tony on this yet. I'm sure he had a few choice things to say. And I don't blame him.

Tony did a great job of keeping those comments to himself but I would bet he will let Bush know how he feels the next time they are running close to each other.

Why in the hell have we not heard that JR IS GOING TO GET A BUSH CAR?????any bets on witch one kyle or kurts????:ponder:

I'll be honest I don't like NASCAR in the least bit, but I do see it on ESPN and have friends that do watch it. My take on this is NASCAR loves this kind of stuff, granted I don't think they promote it but at the same time it's obvious they aren't die hard against it. This is great publicity for them.

i heard the rumor is that hendrick motorsports doesn't like kyle at all, and they want jr., bad.

One can only hope not. I can't stand the Con-man and his race team. He's a lyeing, cheating snake that should be locked up in jail.

Who else was arrested and convicted, suddenly developed a life threatening disease so they didn't have to do the time, and suddenly had a miraculous recovery after buying their pardon from one of the most crooked presidents this country has ever seen? Guess when you embezzle money you can use it buy your "freedom." Why are people, even in NASCAR, so blind they can't see Rick Hendrick for what he is?

The penalty was weak. Screw the fine, screw the points, bench him for 4 races. Can't win money if you don't race, can't get drivers points either. Plus, nothing hurts a driver more than watching the race.

but if he did something, i dont have a clue what you're talking about.

It's not if he did something it's he DID do something. He was embezzling money through his car dealerships and a few other things. He was convicted and sentenced and suddenly he developed leukemia. So he's under house arrest, takes some of the money he embezzled and buys a pardon from ol Slick Willy, all good now, he's in remission, what a miracle or a crock of $hit, however you want to look at it. The guy is a criminal plain and simple.

I agree. Jr going to Hendrick would be wrong. Everyone thinks Hendrick is such a saint and a great guy.... I think he is a criminal as well and should be in jail.. .not on the race track.

Tom

That makes three of us that don't want Jr going to Hendrick racing!
