I have just brought an ex-10 helios with a kr-302f receiver, what failsafe do you recommend? my old failsafe dosen't seem to work, everything chucks a wobbly when the radio is turned off. I notice even without the fail safe the servos go mad when the radio is turned off (i would never do this with car running), my old futaba setup use to twitch a little, but not like this. fyi i'm using KO 2173FET and KO 2174FET servos. Have to say excellent bit of kit, bloody large manual though!!

are the servo's your using digital? is the Tx and Rx combo considered a "high response" or "fast frame rate" system? KO might have a failsafe built into its reciever like futaba does, read your manual to find out. if not, you should be able to slow the frame rate down and this will allow your failsafe function properly.

sorry for late response, i use an mtroniks failsafe, my servos are not digital but can and are operate using ko hi speed response. slowly getting through the manual at the moment.

turn the frame rate down to a normal level instead of high response and you failsafe should operate properly.

Just getting to that part now, is the mtroniks a good failsafe anyway?
