Hi all since I'm in the trucking business I thought it might be cool to get a rc semi I'm not sure where to even look I rem looking at an old rc mag and I think there was or is one called the knight hauler. Anyone every have one of these or any other kind of rc semi?

There is/was another company called Wedico. They also made some pretty sick semi-truck kits. They made the Tamiyas' look cheap. I don't know if Wedico is still around.

Tnx for the suggestions everyone I'm going to check those out maybe ck e-bay this is just something I think would be neat to have.

would be very neat to have!

I think ur correct Z400, I beleive they also have a remote much like that used for RC aircraft with several channels. That way you can do the usual foward/reverse then you can also detach, honk the horn and turn on lites etc.

Two great videos...

A warning to ALL of you!!! I am NOT happy about this thread. I checked the links yesterday and the videos today, and now I'll have to spend almost a grand to get one of those. Wow, that's intense. They even have that "tractor shudder".

I have seen a couple RC big rigs and they are HUGE! I was amazed at how big they really are!

This rig is $652, the tanker trailer is $538, and below are the rest of the accessories.
Now I'll have to start buying lottery tickets.

Spare Parts & Hop Up Options
56501 - Tractor truck electrical unit set
56503 - Tractor truck oil shocks
56504 - Roof spoiler
56506 - Animal guard
56507 - Telescopic antenna
56508 - Truck aluminum front wheels (1 pair)
56509 - Truck aluminum rear wheels (1 pair)
56510 - Tractor truck sound effects set

SEMI-TRUCK KITS REQUIRE:
(unless stated differently above)
Radio: 4-Channel with servo(s)
Battery: 6-cell flat with standard Tamiya connector
Charger: AC/DC timed or peak for 6-cell battery
Paint: Polycarbonate for spare body
Misc. Items: Building and track equipment

And by the way, this tractor alone is 2 feet long.
