If you plan to keep it until it is rusted through (3-4 years LOL) go with the KIA. I have literally seen people cry in my last car dealership when time came and we discussed tradein values. Never lease one, thats like burning money, as the only thing you are really paying for is the moneyfactor.
Pontiac G6 has lots of hype made about it, but barely are people as happy with them as they should. From my experience people are not too impressed with the service and maintenance issues Pontiac will always have.
Hyundai has the same/ or similar tradevalue issues but better value overall with the best warranty, if not leased or financed prolly the best deal.
Toyota : You may end up with a certified preowned vehicle for the same money and then it's also just a set of wheels.
Whatever you do, arm yourself with Invoice prices and do not let a 0% or very low APR trick you into the deal. Leasing is not what it used to be... Payments are low, but you barely drive, and never own. Leasing is the only way a dealership can go to get a unqualified customer to leave with a car that day.
If I can't buy it for invoice I silently walk, if you walk silently they will call you a day later to nail the deal. Funny, people who are loud never get the deals they wanted, because they attract a whole showrooms attention.
My tip: politely thank them for their time and let them know how to reach you (ONCE). I had a lot of customers telling me upfront what they want so I had a chance to let the stupid salesmanager know that he had ONE shot.
If the cramping & negotiations are not over within 45 minutes (incl. testdrive) "let's go home and feed the cat, honey"
Here is a link to a sales training website a lot of dealerships are subscribing to, it tells Salespeople how to overcome obstacles and negotiate in todays market. Problem: The last idiot crawled out of a trashbarrel will fit into a suit and can learn how to appear professional. Average income in my last dealership was $70.000/ Year the Top Dogs made around $100-125K
