My keyboard is going to hell, and I'm looking for a new one. What kind do you have, how long have you had it, and does it have USB ports on it? I need USB ports on it!

They come with usb ports in them? Thats what I need too.

Yea, some do. Usually the gaming keyboards have them. The Saitek Cyborg is what I have now, and it has a single USB port. I like the keyboard, but the letter after U and the top four/dollar sign keys stopped working. Somewhat of a pain in the rear having to copy/paste those when I need them.

I'm currently looking at this one: SteelSeries Zboard
It has two USB ports, though I don't need the interchangeable keysets.

:hehe:

I'm really happy with my Razer Lycosa keyboard. One USB, mic/headset connection the keyboard case, backlit keys, audio controls, etc. for about $70...

Great tactical feel of the keys, easy to use in the dark, etc. I've had it over a year with nothing more than some light wear on the palm rest (it's shiny where my hands are).

Where's the second USB? In the pics on Newegg, it only shows one, on the back by the mic/headphone jacks.

I'm really digging the sleek no frills wireless apple keyboard that came with my Mac.

Must be very annoying not being able to write I. I do it all the time, in fact I can't imagine not using the letter I. Or was it Y you meant.

Lol, think alphabet. The letter after U in the alphabet.

Hey sorry about that, it is only one port. I have so many on my case front that I never use the one on the keyboard. But great if you have a USB game controller or something and no front ports on your case...

I use the keyboard that came with my iMac. Its not the new one so its wired, but it does have 2 USB ports on it.

Well I'm glad I could help someone on here. I think you will really like it. I've never used the usb on it. But I've played a lot on it and never had an issue.

No need for USB Ports on your keyboard anymore. EVERYTHING has a USB hub built into it now.....or just buy an external USB Hub. I have one that looks like half a softball on my desk with 8 USB ports on it. Kensington makes it. Heavy too so it won't tip over from cables plugged into it. My LCD has 4 more USB ports...Computer has 6 more....I mean how many USB devices can you plug in at once? :-)

Got my G11 today, I can now type: $4v. And on a side note, while it's not as good as my Cyborg was, I love it.

Thanks Bergoff!

http://www.skyauction.com/anyoffer/82650 is what I have and I love it. I have had the top of the line logitech G-** and this one has been the best one yet. And it wasn't the much compared to the others. You will be happy with the G11, thats what I had before this one and it was nice especially if you are going from a non usb keyboard to one that has usb even tho I have never plugged anything into mine lol.
