Finished my break in, changed my batteries and now wen I run my truck, the throttle seems to cut out. Ill give it gas, cuts out then its fine, then cuts out again. I looked at the throttle servo, held it up and gave it gas, seems like the servo is cutting out like bad reception or sumtin. - dunno what to do, any help?

Did you make sure that the opening of the carb is about 1mm? Or maybe you are set-up too rich.:\

Seems the gap is good. Its not the motor that cuts out, bits my throttle servo that cuts out which then makes the motor cut

Check the simple stuff first.

Make sure the plug for the servo is seated properly in the receiver, if it is loose it will cause it to get then loose signal.

Look for nicks in the servo wires and antenna wire.

Check the batteries on both the radio and receiver.

It is possible you have a bad servo or receiver, but always start with the easy stuff.

Cool thanks I'm gona check it all over tonite or tomorow. Hopin its sumthin simple.

Well I checked everything out. Tried hooking up each servo in diffrent channels in the reciever and they both seem to work in both channels.all the electronics seem to work fine in the house but as soon as I take it outside and fire it up, the thing gets all glitchy and the failsafe kicks in. I shut it down fot a minute, turn everything back on and even sumtimes right off the hop, the failsafe will kick in. It will idle forever though. All the batteries are full, and all the obvious, any other suggestions?

Mine use to do that I found out that it was my failsafe. It had went bad. I took it off and my truck ran fine. May try to disconnect the failsafe and try it and if it runs better you know you need to replace the failsafe. But remember to keep the truck close by as you no longer have the protection of the failsafe and Savages are known to run away.

So I bought a new spektrum dx2.0 radio system and it seemed to solve my problem. The new radio system is pretty cool. Everything is nice and smooth and it comes with 2 servos so now I have a few spares. Definatly waaay better than an am radio!
