keepin plug for humppack waterproof????

hey i was lookin at this humppack for my savage http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3166192245&category=19168 how do i charge it without opening my box? do i gotta like cut a hole in the ox or somethin and if i do that, how do i keep thecord thing waterproof wile bashing??thanks

just notch a groove in the edge of the lid and run the wire thru it, I don't think it's going to need waterproofing, I leave mine hang out just behind the front bumper and is easy to get to even with the body on, as for charging, I use my Vision Peak 2 charger (made by Dynamite) for charging my hump pack, set on 5 cell and rate of 1 amp........that's what the extra cord you see in the picture is for.

just to let you know... don't get that one... the same seller has a 5 cell 6V NimAH... or you can go to ebay buyer all-batteries.. you can get 3 6V 5cell NimAh humps for $19.00 more powerfull and last longer...

I had the one you are planning to get and it doesn't hold very long for 4.8v... plus it is pretty weak for the 3 channel.. drains quick..

6V 5 Cell NiMah...
