can anyone help me out i have a tmaxx 3.3 #4907 and i keep losing small drive line parts, like e-clips, u joint parts, yoke pins etc.... I'm about to make another order to tower hobbies and want to know what else to get besides u joints and e clips, I'm gettin a little tired of losing parts when I'm runnin! what is some of the stuff you lose on your maxx?

I loose almost nothing, aside from ripping bodies in half, but nothing should just be falling off for no reason. I bash my maxx hard, 20-30 foot jumps, and have only really bent my garbage integy skid plate.

Keep your left side wheels tight, and you should check screws after every run or two as well. If you're tearing driveshafts apart then maybe you should back your slipper clutch off 1/8 of a turn until it slips a little on take off. If you don't like it to slip just tighten it back up 1/8 turn. Also you might wanna look for complete shafts on ebay you could save a few bucks in the end.

i did loosen up my slipper and i dont mind it, i kinda like it give me peace of mind I'm puttin less stress on my truck, what do you think about gluing my e-clips to my u joints? and can i use loc tight on my screws?

loc tight will only work with metel to metel, not on plastic. I loc tight everthing that screws to aluminum, the blue medium strenght loc tight. I have not lost any parts from falling off, only lose stuff from breaking and wrecking it.

I put loctight on some of my screws, like the ones connecting the skid plates to the chassis braces, they're both aluminum and I didn't have a problem with the screw until I switched to aluminum so you should be fine there. Anything metal on metal doesn't hurt to have loctight on it.

You must be tweaking the e-clips when your assembling them. They shouldn't just fall right off. I'd do what 2revo said and go with new shafts. Then keep your old ones for the parts. Any screw or bolt that threads into metal needs locktite applied.

i ran my maxx on fwd for a couple tanks with some one of the half shafts on the rear diff, so it was just getting knocked around that was prolly my problem
