Hi all
Is there a better engine for the savage xl than the stock one , been reading lots of forums and there are lots of engines people talk about , I'm just a general basher don't do any thing to heavy so is the stock engine fit for geneal purpose ,
or is there a better engine I've heard of people saying sock engines not up to much and it's hard to tune.....

I have a picco .28s. But I don't have much experience with them right now. I ran out of fuel, and then it snowed so I didn't both with getting anymore till spring. Further more I neglected to get them pipes or headers. Ok well I unboxed one and ran a tank through it but just at idle, also the only pipes I have now are a JP-3, and a ofna 086

I've had good luck with my 5.9. It's been reliable and not hard to tune at all. Are there better engines out there? Sure there are, and when I finally kill my 5.9, I will probably get one.
