Just something to kill time/or me!?!?!

Well, I have a doosey. Something my bro(Ken) and I built a couple of decades ago. We put together a pulse jet from a wd-40 can and bits and pieces. Now i have a new set of plans, but no material, so i came up with this idea. My other bro(Greg) had siad to me once that coating paper with glue will raise it's ignition point. see where this is going! I'm using industrial cardboard tubing, about 1/4-3/8 inch thick, and lining it with aluminum foil, reinforcing the outer shell with cross glued paper layers, and hoping that a coffee can bottom will work as reed valves. I'm hoping to get atleast a minute out of it, before it burns!!

K, I have a quick question. can a person add a secondary air tunnel around the combustion chamber and tailpipe, to draw heat build up off of the engine itself???
