I was at my LHS awhile ago and the owner tells me that his distributor has some old T-Maxxes with the pro .15 left.

He tells me that the price of the old ones have dropped and he will sell them for $299.00.

I kinda figured if any older ones were around the price would drop.

yeah My NSLHS had some after the 2.5 came out... I think they went down almost $80 before they sold:D

It would have to have been a reduction of more than $100 before I would even consider going .15. (back when I bought my 2.5). When you factor in the cost of upgrading to 2.5 equivilant, it still wouldn't even make sense for $100.

So you don't know? Massivex, 2.5 is a .15 engine. I guess you have already considered going .15 and bought one. Just thought you might like to know that. For the books 2.5 cc is the equivalent to a .15 ci engine.

Well now theres a wild assumption! Like I would drop $700 without knowing a thing or two about the product. I didn't think I would have to spell out in layman to get my message across, guess I was wrong. Consider that if I had said .15 in both places, I'd look like a real idiot now wouldn't I?

Really, I'm Canadian and I know full well about centimeters eh!

Don't sweat it El Pirata, I can hold my own.

Massivex, you can stand down. I am not looking to pick a fight. The way you worded your original post, seemed like you were not aware of the difference. You might have considered saying the old T-Maxx versus the 2.5 T-Maxx (an acceptable distinction between the two.) I'm glad to see that you are familiar with the differences and that you feel capable of holding your own.

As for you EP, mind your own business. I'll chuck and retreive my daggers when and how I see fit.
