I put in AA alkalines in car for now, and Venom failsafe, and fuel filter. I have not started car yet or even pulled on the pullstart cord. I checked breifly that the screws where tight. I did notice the rear sits slightly lower than the front as the setup comes out of the box. Is there anything I should do to the car before, during, or after break in that would be good to know now? I have Wildcat 20% nitro with 18% oil fuel that I was going to use for breakin. I'm not brand new to nitro just this car.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I own an NTC3 kit, not RTR, but the car is just about the same. I think it is the best kit out there for the money. Here are some suggestions. First, see if you can get the manual from the team kit. As it comes with a great setup guide. The most ideal ride height for the NTC3 is 5mm front and rear. This setup up causes the car to oversteer a little, but can be fixed by tightening up the front diff 1/16 turn. I would also recommend a 1degree toe-in for the rear wheels, that will aid in the handling as well. If you have dual rate on your xmttr - feel free to set it a little more wild than normal. This car handles like its on rails, and can take corners with upmost speed. Also, replace the tires, as they are junk, and get a good set of hard shore foams. Good Luck! Great car!!! upgrade to the two speed once you get used to the car!

Eventually get rechargable packs instead of the AA batteries.

For break-in, Use the fuel you're going to run with for break-in. Let it sit for like 4-6 tanks. Then drive it around for 2-3 tanks not going past like 1/4 throttle. Then it'll be pretty well broken in...don't go wild during break-in, it's important. Make sure after each tank you take off the glow plug and put 4 drops or so of after-run oil

when everthing is broken in, just don't go all out until you get used to the car, if this's your first r/c car it'll get away from you real fast. Try not to drive where there are cars until you're used to the car.

Upgrades, two speed, light wt. chassis, tighter clutch springs, light weight clutch bell (vented so it's better, and lighter)..then you'll own all except me (I own all!..hehe not really, but i like to think i do)

oh yeah, take some pictures and post it.

DONT BY ANY MEANS RUN IT IN THE COLD WEATHER!!!

i learned the hard way, the plastic gets SO brittle, it snaps just by trying to bend it by hand.

Get new wheels and tires ASAP (save the old ones for Drifting, thats what i do for fun)

the Steering servo that comes with it is Complete Crap, get a Better one.

Loosen up the Brake a little bit, it will save you alot of Aggravation.

Dont be scared to get the car sideways to take a really sharp Turn, it is extremely easy to control.

2 speed

Racing Clutch, Take off the pull start and get a Starter box.

if you hit something with the Tip of the muffler, it WILL bend.

Ill think of more.

oh, and Bolink Bodies dont agree with the TC3
