Got it along with a BUNCH of other stuff in a large lot deal.

It is the model 5309 genuine 3.3 model bone stock.

No engine in it. The parts lot also included a 3.3 traxxas engine and a 26 maxx picco.

So my stupid question is.... which is better?

Judging by the receipts I found in the boxes I am thinking the picco?

The Picco is a monster. All you need is the correct motor mount and it will bolt right up to the truck and accessories.

The Picco is awesome. I have the Picco Red Dot and Max. If you can sell some parts, use that money to buy a good engine mount and big block exhaust for the Picco.

How is the pinch/compression on the Picco? May want to test for leaks. Also make sure the fuel tank cap seals properly.

well it came w a mount also LOL. I am a bit confused by it though....

The engine just kinda floats there? ya dont gotta set gear lash w the spur or anything??

I am gonna be sellin some 4910 tmaxx's once I get this thing rolling. If anybody is interested.

There's a mount that bolts to the chassis. The engine bolts to a cradle. The bolts on that hold the cradle to the mount is what you loosen to adjust mesh.

Can you slow down a bit for me?

how many bolts where, ect ?

What I see are 4 bolts at the base of the engine, one of which is the yellow EZ start wire mount ( stripped by the way)

4 other bolts holding the "mount' I think to the blue body.

and 2 LONG bolts going sideways.

Nothing really seems to be cammed to allow adjustment?

Is there a tutorial for doing this? I guess I am gonna have to rip it all apart anyways, due to the stripped bolts. I assume I can use slightly larger screws after tapping the holes?
