the dtx18 i can't find the factory carb setting so I'm kinda screwed... i can't tune it..

high speed 2 and 1/2 out from fully closed, and the low speed is flush with the brass nut and then turn in a half turn.

i googled it and found that on another forum ...dont know if it right

i just bought this and a aquacraft airforce boat for 20.00. i'll be posting pictures later after i get outta work. its a 4wd belt driven for the front wheels. it has a DTX 18 motor. it appears to be older... i'll be posting pictures in a while. if you can tell just by the info given what it is please help me out.. thanks.

yeah, thats what sucks... parts = impossible to find.. but most of the common stuff that breaks can somewhat be found... thanks for the info mac... i seen that forum too but i wanted to make sure with someone on here aswell..

i saw on another one saying HSN 2 turns out ...lsn was the same as my previous post ...so i would try 2 1/4 out on the HSN and tune from there

when i first started i figured 3 1/2 was a good standard starting point and it just was HELLA rich and i didn't want to run it too lean, i though 2 1/2 would be way too lean, must just bee the old school carbs.. i found a os max 12cv engine but when i try to put the clutch together it locks the flywheel... its pissing me off i can't figure it out!!!!!!

thats weird ...are you sure you have the right clutch parts ??..are they the originals ??

in deed they do.. and if there is gas coming out through the carb/airfilter, the hsn is too rich correct?
