will this work with my s maxx 2.5 motor mount flywheel exc... and i know i have to upgrade my drive train but will the current one work. at least for now??
 
It should, but i think the crankshaft might be different. if it's got an sg shaft then yes, direct drop in.
 
Yes, direct drop in. just put your clutch assembly on and header and your be good to rip.

I would also really recommend a wheelie bar. With you having an S-maxx, i guessing your still running 2wd and you'll be doing nothing but going over and flipping it back on the wheels.
 
thats what i like to hear lol. yea I'm going to buy one for sure. i already bought a roll cage for it to. I'm ready to bash it...should my trans should work for now at least?? the guy i got the truck from said he put a new trans in it but I'm sure he lied.
 
it should work for now, but it probly won't be long befor you are replacing gears and drive shafts...
