wow the either no one has a lst...or they are really durable and stuff because theres only like 6 threads on here!

Just A Thought... :smoke:

No one probably owns one because of the price tag. People just don't seem to want to spend that much on a truck. I myself have one, and it is beyond durable, so I got nothing to complain about, or questions about it, because nothing has broken yet. Awesome truck for racing or bashing. I know there's probably people who have them, but your not going to get 100 topics and stuff like that here, because of the simple fact of the price being so high. A newbie, or even just a basher wouldn't spend that much in a truck. They would go for a $400 Savage or Maxx before even thinking of a $600 LST.

wow 600$!!! OMG. that would suck if you paid that much and had problems with it.

losi needs to lower that price!

The price is so high becuase it comes with a very nice radio system, a JR XR3i or something similar to that right? If it came with a POS AM radio I'm sure the price would be down in the $400s.

Which is like a $200 dollar radio, which is why it costs $600. I think Losi Should come out with another version of the LST that doesn't come with a radio/engine/pipe, if they did that I bet more people would own LSTs. Or at least an RTR version with a cheaper radio to bring the price down, a lot of newbies won't even know how to begin to use all the features of a JR XS3 radio.

I will have to contest that statement...I am strictly a basher and I have an LST. I also just bought a new FG MT-5 and paid $950 for it. I just can't help myself, I see a new MT and I go

I agree. They should just make it available in kit form or at least kit + engine/pipe.

Yea, and just to let you guys know it own the 2005 truck of the year in RCCA. If they had a kit tho, more people would own them.

I will be purchasing one of them this weekend. I figure since I a good radio system already I will be selling the radio out of it. So it will lower the price. I know it is alot of money but you are getting the radio. I was told by hobbytown usa that they do sell it without the radio, but I have yet to find it. If anyone has a link for it can you please post it.

Yeah, this truck is awsome! If you don't have one you need to get one.I have a full blown custom LST and all the parts that were stock i saved and i 'm building another one. I have $3,500 in mine.I don't have pics yet but i will post asap!

I have enough trouble keeping ONE nitro engine running in good shape. TWO engines on one roller? No thank you. And at $600 plus, i could get a couple savages and upgrade em both :)

ok I read all the post's & the price does not bother me just to clear that up I do how ever have a ?ND for some one who own's one isn't the super truck just another MT in the end?. I own T-maxx/savage/first mammoth & now the St why should I put the super truck on my bench?.I know I have a thread asking the same ?ND and the price tage came up but that's a ?'ND for that thread not this post just wanted to clear that up

You are right, the LST is just another MT. If you are crazy about MT's then you gotta have one. If you have specific needs in a truck why don't you list them and maybe I can see if I can help you out.

well first off yes I love MT.... I just want one that can wheelie under it's own power no matter how rich it run's will the super truck do this?.when I bought my first savage w/S25 the guy at my lhs said yes it would wheelie with no problem NOT!!!.so my only need's are wheelie's and adjustable shock's are a must. That's not too tall of an order is it?

I don't have a LST yet but I'm planning on getting one. The LST has a 2 speed reversable trans with a HI/Low range selector(4 forward speeds total) I'd imagine at the very least it would be able to wheelie on demand in low range, but as I said before I do not own one so I can't say that is a sure thing. and also do you plan on the LST or the LST2. the new one has upgraded cvd axles and aluminum diff cases to name a few and its only 50 bucks more, and its got a new update Mill. a Mach 427 is what they call it. For shocks the LST2 comes with Threaded Shock Bodies for Spring Preload adjustment.

Well then no,,,and I don't know of any MT's that will wheelie no matter how rich they are run.

Well how rich do you want to run. IMO if the engine temp is 220-240 you don't need to go any richer. If a MT can do on demand wheelies at normal operating temps, thats DAMN good. In the reveiws I have read in order to control the front end for racing purposes they had to losen the slipper clutch so that the enitial punch of the .26 doesn't raise the front end(Thats in High Range).

With a properly tuned engine, it will wheelie shifting into second. I High range.

I love my LST. :classic:

Well Guys, I just ordered the LST 2 it should be here thursday and I can't wait to get it broke in. I'll let you guys know how the new mill that they put in it does.
