Well got it coming can't wait to get it break it in and rip, I am keeping my old motor and I plan to save up the money and rebuild it that way I will have a back up motor.

My Maxx 4908 extended has a Sirio mid block...I would suggest staying away from the Traxxas 3.3....Its a very touchy engine and if not broken-in right to the "T" it will run twitchy , hot and will be hard to tune....If you're gonna get an engine for the Maxx get a Sirio .18 . .27 kit or a Picco .18....I've been running the Sirio .27 for over 2 gallons of nitro now and the 4908 maxx trans holds up well with the forward only conversion trans...The plastic spurgear, stock clutch bell/bearings,centershafts were another issue and had to be converted to hardened steel upgrades...The key to a long life with the trans is lubing it with high temp resistant silicone oil and not overtightening the slipperclutch when jumping or bashing the truck..Good luck

i have at least 10 gallons threw my t maxx 3.3 and it just now giving me plug problems and theres no picco or os .15 .18 .21 in a t maxx keeping up with the 3.3 t maxx i mean thats the 3.3 is way faster then the 2.5 trade your old 2.5 in for a 3.3 way better way to go

Well I have been kind of been putting the truck off since about last wednesday for a 4th of July party so I have not broke it in and it needs a new diff. but I want a spool. The the thing is I am going to my cabin thursday morning so I might make a run to my lhs and just get a normal diff. that would come stock on the truck.
