ok well i found a set of 4 with rims in good condition for 50 bux but the thing I'm wondering is will a 2.5 engine with sirio piston and sleeve beable to handle these big boys and perform well??

the tmaxx is supposed to be know for its speed over the savage's durability so it should work

hhmmmm, it should be but not all that great. considering how big them things are the 2.5 will get them around but not how it would with the regular tires on it

bryan

Make sure your steering servo can handle them. I don't see why the 2.5 can't push them around. I've seen people put the Jumbo Kongs on their Maxx.

Sounds good. You might actually notice an increase in top speed since the diameter of the tires are bigger. However, it will probably take longer to reach top speed, due to the weight. Have fun...

That motor sould handle it, might want to gear down but thats up to you, should run it first i guess. And i have heard that you get a higher top speed with bigger tires, a few mph anyway. Upgrading your drive shafts would not be a bad idea if you havent already done so.
