last night i changed clutch bell on my savage from 15t to 16t. after doing maintinence on the clutch and checking the bearings, i installed the engine checked for perfect mesh and threadlocked the bolts down. well today i went outside to start it, seeing what a difference the one tooth would make. well the savage started right up on the second pull, and immediatly went to WOT! at the time i had a hold of the rear bumper, but let me tell you the power of the wasp .26 isnt really known till you barely have a hold of it while its screaming and spinning tires right in your face at WOT. so what did i learn?

if you remove your engine for anything, remember to hook the throttle linkage back up!!

sounds like fun. a similar thing happened to me, but i didn't have a hold of it. it took off so fast, i started to run after it until i realized i would never catch it. it went faster than it ever has or ever will i think. luckily it went into a field of tall grass and the motor died before it killed something. i learned a lesson too.

I havent given up on mine yet. Usally i can catch it but it does get away. ON november 8th a fail safe will be one of the things i order.

sounds like fun a near 10 pound MT about to paralyze whatever gets into its way!

I had that problem too, I was driving mine, And I think it lost signal, and it just kept driving away from me and I had no control whatsoever, luckily it got hung up in some tall grass as well....full throttle none the less, but not moving, which is good. Failsafe will be getting put on soon.

Yeah mine ran away on me too, it was in a tar parking lot going to hit a brick wall. Luckly it was running to rich and it didnt have the excelleration it usually does so I was able to catch it. I fell on the tar skinned my knees but at least it didnt hit the wall LOL. Hey have fun with the wasp they sound like a kool engine.
