I got a XS3 but in 27 MHZ form could I convert it to 75 MHZ? I really want to sell it but if I can convert then I will keep it. Can it be done?
 
That sucks. Now I have to go and sell this.There goes 170 bux. Off to the FOr sale thread.
 
I had two Jr radios one 27 and one 75(XR3). The 27 receiver went bad and the steering wheel mech in the 75 radio went bad. So I took then apart and there were two circuit boards one with the screen and a smaller one that the crystal hooked into. I unplugged the smaller board in both the radios and and I made a 75 mhz working radio labled 27 mhz. Probably doesn't help you because you dont have two radios and the board is almost 90 bucks.
