A few weeks ago i bought a JR racing z650m servo. Well i put it in my hpi rs4 2 as a steering servo. i drove the car around a good three times. came home and recharged the pack as always. i went out the next day to take it for a spin to notice my servo is dead.

its brand new and i dont understand what the hell happened. I'm made sure my batteries were charge fully and still can't get anything.

Has this happened to anyone else? if so, what do i do? I'm kinda pissed i spent $60 bucks and the darn thing doesn't work and the hobby store i bought it from has nothing to do with the problem...
 
Test the servo vs the receiver by plugging it into the throttle slot, or use another Rx/Tx to verify that the servo is indeed DOA.
If that's the case, then Email JR. I'm sure they might work something out with you.
 
Just send it to Horizon with return address. I know plenty of guys who have gotten their 270's 590's and 650's replaced with brand new ones. And maybe a copy of the sales receipt.

Horizon are usually very good about these things.
