Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but I figured it won't hurt to try.

I'm looking for some used ice hockey goalie pads for my son. He wants to play goalie and the local hockey camps will allow him two weeks free attendance if he agrees to play goalie for their scrimmages. Catch is, he has to have his own gear.

If you're familiar with ice hockey, then you know a full compliment of pads, even for kids, can easily and quickly get into the $700-$800 range and frankly, I'd rather not drop that kind of coin on a set of pads the boy is going to grow out of fairly quickly!

I've got the shin pads, but I think they may be a bit too big for him (they're 27" I believe), but he can probably get by, if need be.

I'm looking for a chest protector, blocker and catcher for about $100.00-$150.00 altogether (plus shipping).

My son is 7 years old and I'd say he's in the 4' to 4'3" range, but skinnier than heck!
