Job at wegmans...?

I need to earn extra money right now and so I'm considering applying for a position at wegmans. Has anyone worked there before? I was looking to get a position as cashier... Does this mean they will make me re stock shelves, or clean the bathrooms, etc? Or will I just be working as a cashier? Any other other suggestions as good places to work? Thanks guys.

Retail is a tough gig to get into. First thing is that you're open pretty much every holiday and second you're on the front lines of the customer when you're the cashier. It's a very good company to work for but expect some of the things you mentioned as part of your duties.

I never heard of Wegman's so I don't know if it's food or retail. Either way, you'll be low man on the totem pole and they'll use you wherever they need you.
Gotta' start somewhere, and it's money.
