Nice trx-4!! What was your reason for going away from Traxxas electronics lol? I have the trx-4 kit. What body do you run?

This was the TRX4 sport builders kit, so it didn't come with electronics. Traxxas That hobbywing esc with Holmes Hobbies motor is cheaper than the xl5hv/21t combo from Traxxas and it can do more. Also, I prefer spektrum receivers because I have a dx5c that most of my rigs are programmed on. The body is the traxxas sport camper body. I have the original body with the rack as well painted in forest green.

Keeping wires neat is a real challenge, I have struggled with that myself in my TRX4. Nice rig!

Question, what battery tray are you using? The way I've modded mine, I need something similar to what you're using to actually hold the battery. What brand and model is it? Can I get it on Amazon?

I am using this battery tray. It works well, but you do have to provide your own velcro strap.

As far as batteries go, I've ran standard 2s packs and shorty 3s packs. I believe you can can go up to 53mm on width and 158mm on length. If your getting batteries from Amazon, I've never had an issue with Zeee batteries
