Has anyone got to see a Jato close up. they had one at my LHS it is so cool it is very compact. just curious if anyone here has one yet.

well i got to see 2 of them up close and in person today and i even raced against one and smoked it hard core in 4 different races with my nitro rustler.(and yes it had a 2 speed) i wanted to get one but now i am not going to after that little beatings it took!

Before you bash it YOU have to drive one. What one person does with it(racer or not) is not what you can do with it. Your Rustler is not stock remember that.

a neighbor has a new Jato and the thing absolutely FLIES. He has to adjust the shift poitn down, as the thing takes forever to get to second gear, and its STILL fast as hell!

yes the only thing that isnt dstock is the pipe and its a ripple pipe and boyth of the guys had many other cars, trucks and they did pretty good but for all iknow it might be his first time racing with it but i will find out at the next race and i will let you all know.

I got to see one rip in an ally way omfg they fly, some guy put different gears and hit 60 mph, that is unatural.

I got to check out one also, and watched a dude rip around in a parking lot, and sorry but it would WALK on a rustler. Them things haul major ass. I'm not to big into the ST's or traxxas for that matter, but things were pretty damn cool and were fricken fast..

i havent seen 1 yet but i have heard only good things

i wanna hear what it can do once someone puts in the sigle speed

we ll see tomorrow!!

just picked that up today, i hope its all that its cracked up to be :devious:

i saw one race at my local track last week .. and i was impressed with the first appereance.. it was well planted.. looked real easy to jump and flew straight.. took the woops as good as any other on the track... had plenty of power .. maybe a tad too much .. and took a severe beating .. the driver was definitely puttin it thru the stress test ..several car wheels after large jumps.. it stayed together tho .. i like it

I feel like a kid looking through the window at a candy shop, I've had my jato for about a week now and it hasnt stopped raining long enough to even break it in

that sucks TG413, at least you can post some pics of it? :) ... I can't wait to hear more reviews as well...my LHS has a bunch of them now but i'm more into 1/8 MT's though. let's see some pics.

I have seen one and put a gallon thru her already :) This is not whatt they look like though I have changed mine a bit.

Check out my ramp:) I do wood floors for a living so that thing has maple, oak and some brazilian cherry in it.

Cool, Hey you should buy that lot across from your house, with your ramps and some dirt you could have your own private track across the street, you could go race in you bathrobe lol.

How is that thing in the air, Jato does stand for Jet Assisted Take-Off

Its great in the air. It is the most level jumper I've ever owned. It hasnt met a ramp it doesn't like yet.
