Jato won't roll backwards?

Hey Fella's,

My buddy (Poet) tore his Jato 2.5 down and put it back together. He said when he puts it on the ground it will not roll backwards.

He does not have reverse (it came this way from Traxxas)

I told him even though he does not have reverse it should still roll backward if he pushes it.

Your thoughts?

be sure to check your differentials , i had brought my truck in to get repaired back in the day and the guy put my diffs. back in but the wrong way so my wheels were turning towards eachother

If the truck doesn't roll backwards, it could be a number of things. One of the first things to check is if the truck rolls without the engine in it. It could be that the clutch on the engine is seized up. Or it could be the brakes are locked.

Remove the engine and check the drive train by trying to roll the truck. This will help you pin down the source.
