Guy wants to trade a jato 3.3 for my revo?
Never messed with a jato and know nothing about jato.
are they fast and a good truck?

If both are in decent condition its not a very even trade unless you must have the Jato.

Jato is as reliable and parts are just as common as the revo, but just not worth a straight up trade. Revo is worth more if both trucks are in equal condition.

revo new $650 + jato $420+
revo used rtr $300+ jato used rtr $180+

i was looking @ starting a jato project off the bay.
but imo the revo is still the best mt

IMO unless the Jato is furnished with hopups I would even consider it. For one, they are 2wd and two, you can put ST style setup on a Revo, and have a ST style truck with 4WD.

I would tell the guy to eat a carrot unless hes going to throw some $$ in with it. I would even go as far as telling the guy that you want to keep your powerplant and he keep his just so you know the engine condition incase he is tryin to shizt ya.

I own both 3.3 Jato & 3.3 Revo, and when it comes down to it, I want my Revo to be ready to run over my Jato.

The jato is a hella fast car but imo i wouldn trade a revo for a jato anyday the ? really is what kind of bashing do you do if you drive on pavement alot id go with jato and some cash on account of price diff and if i was you keeping your powerplant as stated b4 would be a really good idea. But revo is way better imo depending on how you have it set up it can be run good on pavement or you can set it up for offroad bashing revo is a much better all around truck. jato is good for haulin a$$ down the road and thats really about it imo, it does ok on dirt/gravel with the right rear tires but still kinda hard to keep control spins all over in leaves or pinestraw (idk if you have pinestraw where you live but louisiana has tons lol)

Yeah yard full of pine trees. Told the guy I needed cash to boot anf said nope.
so keeping the revo
