:devious: What if just courious you could change the fram of the jato just a hair and make it like a revo also if there is a way to make a 2wd stadium truck like a jato into a 4wd?

make a jato monster truck!!!

i dont know , just buy a hpi and you got a 4 wheel drive, change gearing, motor and tires. and you got a monster truck. better yet just buy a monster truck.

That what I'm gonna do with my RC10Gt the day it gets here. Gonna add some stronger longer springs and make a rock crawlin' vid.

Well I know I can just buy a regular revo or other monster truck I just wanted to know.

i shall become the jato king!

Technically yes it can become 4WD, but for the cost, you are better off buying a 4WD ST like the hpi MT2, or a MT. To make it 4WD, you would have to change
sooooo much, that it would'nt be a jato anymore, it'd be a custom hybrid costing around another $400 to do so... And it'd probably have to be belt-driven which sucks for nitro 4WD off-road...

If you want a rock crawler, you will be sadly dissapointed in a 2WD ST as your choice...you have 3 main things against you...
1: the ST geometry lends itself to being rear heavy and will flip over easily
2: the rear wheel drive won't let you pull over the top of the climb
3: nitro clutches will get eaten alive with all the throttle control you need for rock climbing....Electric is the way to go for Crawlers.....there's a forum here for them check it out and you'll learn a lot about them....

I did see a Revo do rock climbing in a video, but the thing was geared pretty darn low. I was thinking that it would be very hard on clutch shoes......
My old Kyosho Double Dare (remember those?) would have made a pretty good rock crawler.
