Just got a new jato, sickening fast however the stock tires will dont hook up very well at all on a very smooth surface which is primarily where I will be running it.(rough asphalt it hooks up okay but where I run it the tires just spin and spin without any wheelies whatsoever) What would be the best tires and rims for this that will fit the jato? Also I would like to avoid any kind of tire that will only give me a good 1-2 runs before they wear out. Thanks

Stock size tire....Proline Gladiators, good traction and will last longer than most

Proline Moabs....bigger than stock but very good traction, expect wheelies but not sure how long they will

As for as wheels, just make shore they fit. Also keep in mind that any tire you mount to this rc will not last very long and will spin, the 3.3 is just too much engine for the Jato.

Went with the moabs, like you said very good traction. Although the moabs do look bigger, you have to use pro-line's 2.2" agitator rim with it which brings it down to size a bit. So far wear seems good compared to the stock andaconda tires which have 0 traction (atleast on the suface that I am using them on) Big difference!!
