ya know what sucks? i went to the store for ice cream during this and missed it dammit! anyone have a i-net photo of the broadcast at that time?
 
Trust me you didn't miss much. It wasn't like it was a real upclose shot or nothing.
 
I now have the whole picture, since I dont like nipple rings, I edited it out, I will send a b4 and after to those of you I have an email adress for if you really want to see it! even with the nipple ring I wont post it on the site, pm me if ya want it! That damn thing looks like it could hurt somebody, I am surprized Justin didnt cut his poor little hand on it!
 
Well its gonna cost CBS approx $27,000 for each and every station that showed the halftime show according to FCC and NFL says to MTV go screw you will never do another halftime show for us again..(according to the new york post)
 
I watched the pregame show and well, I'm not a big fan of Areosmith and I gotta give them credit for trying but they really should retire. That had to be the worst version of dream on that I've ever heard.

And as for the half time show. Sucked. Even though I had the TV on, I was busy installing Linux and missed the titty shot of janet. Publicity stunt all the way from what I've heard. And kid rock, and the others before him, WTF was that? I mean the performances all around sucked.

What ever happened to the times when the cheerleaders got out there and really shook their moneymakers? Hell, all they do now is shake pompoms at the camera on the sidelines during timeouts (and the stats usually block the better portions of the cheerleaders). Wouldn't it be better if the winners of the college band competitions had the honors of the halftime show? I personally like the marching bands at ball games, not a bunch of used up MTV has beens.

MTV sucks, has for a long time, probably will for a long time to come, and has no place at the superbowl, period.
 
Kid Rock was the only one who was REAL about the half time show and was the best IMO. :thumbup:

I just think its funny that there is a class action lawsuit currently forming for the 'offensive' nature of the half-time show.... lol
 
One of the things IMO that sucked about the MTV production as a whole was the sound mixing levels. Most of the guitars and bass were gone, only to leave some drums and mostly vocals. And yes, Kid may have been the best of the litter there, but the presentation sucked. I know, the sound systems aren't the same as at a concert, but the idiot on the mixer board could have amped up the band more than the lead singer.

And what was that that Justin said in his staement? Wardrobe malfunction? does that mean that buth sides were supposed to show and not just one? Sounds like a canned statement to me, MTV's as well.

MTV GET OFF THE AIR.
 
Sorry, but I was just a little offended by the fact that Kid Rock used an actual American Flag as a poncho. In my eyes, that is pretty disrespectful. He could have used something else.
 
this story changes on the news every day...yesterday it was aid it was a mistake there was supposed to be somehting underneath but that came off too...today it was a secret between janet and justin... as for the KidRock thing its funny because my bros friends were saying that thier might be conflict over his attire

Did you hear them on the daily show making fun of him for his specific lyrics, lol. Kid Rock Super Bowl Half Time, whyd the hell did he change the lyrics randomly
 
I would venture to say that Kid Rock is proud to be an all out AMERICAN more than most. And probably supports the troops 99% more than the rest of the entertainment industry. While I also thought twice about his attire, his intention was to be a proud American. Period.

If a hot blonde would have had it wrapped around her torso and showed a little ass I wouldnt have thought twice.

But such is life.
