Well, I've decided on what my next addition to my RC collection will be. Most likely an Onroad car.

Here's my thoughts.. HPI Super Nitro, Associated NTC3, and anything else you guys think is good.

Here's what I want to know. I've been looking, and I definetly want a kit. I'm not sure which the best way to go would be. I definetly wouldn't be racing, just want to have some fun tinkering with it. I want to know from experienced owners which flaws each has.

Such as the NTC3, from what some local pro's tell me it always had a problem with shock mounting (Though I haven't seen it.. That's what they tell me)

So what all cars have thier bad points. So far I'm leaning to the NTC3, and not sure about the others. But I want some real life information. :)

Forgot to add, I definetly want a Two Speed hehehehe
Thanks, AoD

Go for the ntc3...it owns...there's more and more aftermarket coming out...it's gonna be like a t-maxx where you can build your own ntc3 just in hop-up parts.

I personally haven't had a problem with the shock tower. Only thing I don't like is the 4-40 screws because you can easily strip what you're screwing into.

do you own any other onroads? i found them to be boring after a while...unless you race of course. the super nitro rally (or any other rally for that matter...) would go more places than the super nitro or ntc3 and you wouldnt have to worry about belts.

Well, I have my GT for those "no blacktop" jobs that just can't be missed. I have a place I can go where I can take the thing around a track. My goal is plainly to tinker with it, set it up perfect, and run it around in circles all day. It may not sound fun, I just love the "adjusting" and finding out what the heck I just actually does. heheheh :)

I've only driven a Serpent and I own an NTC3. I Love the NTC3! Its great for after a bash session and doing some HIGH HIGH HIGH speed runs down the parking lot or street! I really do like the NTC3 a lot and of coarse I like the Serpent (little too pricey for me!). So I can't vouch for any other ride.
